The Circus

When I was little, I used to beg my folks to take me to the circus every year. I'd want to meet the performers in the circus, but I knew I couldn't unless I had a pass or was a member. If I became a member of the circus, I would have wanted to become a clown, because the the other jobs seemed dangerous or nasty(scooping up poop). As I got older my interest grew a little smaller. Now my biggest interest in on the circus animals. I heard about the circus doing an animal walk when they arrive in each city they will perform in. I might not want to go to a show, but I would surely like to see the circus animals walk through my town. I'm trying to contact the circus corporate office to find out when this event is scheduled, but it seems like everyone is trying to keep it hush hush.
I'm no animals right protester or animal hater. I'm just want to see something different and entertaining for a while in my city. Aw well, I'll guess I will go buy a ticket to see the show.

Snow Day Freak Out

It snowed where I lived. People freaked out because it doesn't normally snow in the deep south. Children and adults both were having snowball fights, making snow-angels, and creating snowmen. Local news crews were giving live updates and interviewing people all around. That evening everything came to a halt. The snow that everyone was looking forward to melted. I went outside to get my mail and almost slipped. Good thing I had on rubber shoes. To the little ones, this was a day in history. To the older folks, this was an excuse for going out of town to visit their family.

Class back in session

College classes just started back. The seniors are wishing that this term will end fast as possible. The freshmen are wondering how their classes will be and will they make any new friends. As for me, in between, I just want to see my friends again, pass my new classes, and have some fun. Time to start studying again and burn some midnight oil. Night classes this time.

A Fresh Dose of Italy

Today I went to an Italian restaurant for lunch. I ordered the chicken alfredo. There was lots of people in there. My waitress was so kind and welcoming. It took a little while for my order to come out of the kitchen, but I was alright with that. I hade some garlic-butter bread sticks and an Italian style salad to hold me. As I sat at my table, I looked around at the other customers and listened to the opera music in the background. I finally was served my order, and it was mouthwatering and delicious. So much was put out my plate that I had to get a doggy bag. Mama Mia! That was Great!
Check please. Here's your tip.

Rain Go Away

I called out a fence company to come and put a 5 foot steel fence around my house. They gave me a great offer, so I gave them my address and they came out. They were in a truck that look like the one's that be at graveyards. On it were the fence poles and a hold digger. The men dug up holes around my yard, placed the poles in, and poured cement in the holes. They said they will be back in a few days if it didn't rain to finish the job. The men left the cement to dry, so the poles would stay in place when they come back.

Tonight I was outside looking at the job the guy did, and I was saying to myself, "They should be back tomorrow." Right at the end of that thought, I felt a raindrop hit my head and then another one. The next thing I knew was it was raining. I just stood there, getting soaking wet, asking myself why. I went back inside, and turned my on the the weather channel. The forecast read rain for tomorrow, Friday, and Sunday. I want to get this fence up, but I can't until it stops raining and the ground dries. Well you can't always get what you want. Especially when you want it.

Favorite Shows

In the mist of the writer's strike some of my old favorite shows are coming back on television. Night Rider and American Gladiator. I can't believe it. I know these shows are going to have a different cast, but I still like them. American Gladiator has already came back. It's on NBC. I forgot what channel it used to come. When I was little, I wanted to go see the show live, but I never got a chance to go to Universal Studios before it went off the air. Maybe now I can go now when I get some vacation time and enough traveling money.

Night Rider, on the other hand, does not have a live show. I sure wish I could have a car just like night rider. I'll tell it to drive me this and that place. I'll fight crime. Also I'll be the talk of the town. :-)
Just dreaming.

Chat Away

I was in an internet chat-room the other day, chatting with some people around the U.S. We was telling each other what we do for a living and about the places where we live. All of a certain this new person comes into the room. We greeted him or her, and this person replied back to us in Spanish. Next thing we knew, we were having a conversation in Spanish. But I really don't Speak much Spanish, so I asked this person in Spanish, "?Habla English?" (Do you speak English) Then poof, he or she left the room. The room started back our English conversation, and the the person came back and left over and over again. We didn't know if someone were playing with us or what. We just ignored this person, and when we all decided to leave the room, we left this trickster in their alone. If this happens again, they might get reported. People can't have a decent conversation anymore in chat-rooms anymore.

Day of frost

Today when I went out, I saw that I forgot to bring my plants inside the house. Jack Frost got they, but I hope I can still save them. I going to try putting them in the sunlight tomorrow. If that doesn't work, then bye bye plants. You lived a good plant life.

So I went to Wal-Mart aka Wally World today to find some bargains on marked-down Christmas items. I found a few things in the store that I decided to purchase. I also ran into lots of beautiful women too, but Jack Frost got me too. I froze. I looked at them. They looked at me. Nothing was said, so bye bye phone number. Bye Bye new potential date.

2008 Is Here

It's another year. My neighbors were trying to shoot out 2007 on New Years morning. I kinda felt like I was in Iraq (Props goes out to the men and women fighting in Iraq). I have not made any resolutions for the new year because I know I won't keep them, but I have set guidelines for myself:

1. Show more love to people around me.
2. Start having more me time.
3. Pray more.
4. Always look on the brighter side of things.
