Preacher Joke

There were two competing preachers, from different churches. One preacher said, "I bet you I'll have more people at my church than yours Sunday." The other preacher asked, "Are you trying to challenge me?" The other preacher said,"Yeah." So the other preacher said, "We will see."

Sunday came. The preacher who challenged the other preacher had a good showing at his church. All the pews were full, and church went on as usual. Attendance was 300. After church, the preacher decided to ride by the other preacher's church. He drove up in front of the church and saw flashing lights coming from inside. He got out the car and something which smelt like BBQ. He got up to the church doors and heard loud noises from inside. He went inside the church, and he saw homeless people, gangsters, and everybody you can think of who would be out in the streets. Some were standing up talking to each other. Some were sitting down eating BBQ. The other preacher came up to the amazed preacher and said, "Well. How many people you had today?" The preacher said, "300. How many you had?" The other preacher said, "About 600 or more came today, and people were still coming, until we ran out of BBQ.

America's Youth

I am upset about the happenings in America today. It seems our youth is being exposed to more violence. What happens when they go older? They get involved in violent acts, and they find themselves in a grave or behind cell bars.

What is my suggestion on what should be done?

1. Educate uneducated adults on their wrongs.
2. Be a good role-model to our youth.
3. Take a stand on violence.

These are only three things. You can add more if you like.

Cats Do Have 9 Lives

A cat named Felix was found alive and well beneath the rubble of a six-story building in Cologne that collapsed five weeks ago. Cats don't have 9 lives for nothing.

Bad Luck for Motorist

A elderly motorist in Germany was in three accidents in one hour. First she was involved in a seven car accident at a local supermarket. She was only slightly in that one. Next she was driving home, and her foot accidentally over stepped on the gas pedal. Her car went across a lawn and struck a house. She was taken to hospital in an ambulance but that vehicle was then hit by a truck.

After all of this she was still alright. It was fortunate that no one was seriously hurt in any of the accidents.

I think she need to stay put a home and get someone to run her errands for her

What Female Chimps Like

If you a male a male chimpanzee (literally) and you are trying to attract a female chimpanzee, offer her steak. Zoologists have done a study that female chimps are attracted more to male chimps who share their raw steak with them.

The Safest State

I was hearing from people which state they think is the safest state to live in, and I heard mostly New Jersey. I have to agree with on that. There have not been any recent crimes in the news or at least aired on the news about crimes happening there. I wonder why? I guess I got to research that.

Why People Snap

Why do people snap and kill? I'm no doctor but here is my hypothesis. It usually starts off from childhood. The person has had something dramatic happen to him or her as a young kid, and that person kept all of their feelings inside. Then, as this person gets older and older the feelings building up inside them. When the person as an adult feels push around he or she tries hard to not release their kept away feelings. Some manage to do so, but only temporarily. When the person is alone he or she starts to receive flashbacks of bad times in life. A demonic spirit is nested within themselves that tells them they can't take it anymore. Visions of suicide and mass murdering is roaming around in their minds. And finally, the weak minded person gets consumed by their thoughts. He or she gets up the nerve to commit these bad actions. They snap. They kill. They suffer the results.

Once again I'm not a doctor, but if you are one of these people or close to being one, seek medical counseling immediately. Don't wait until it is too late. Your life and other people's lives are at stake. And yes, whatever your problem is, you can get around it. You just need proper help to do so.

People stay safe.

4 Teen Girls

This past week one night, 4 teen girls were involved in a bad car accident in Talladega, Alabama. Out of the 4, only one survived. The police said the accident was caused by unexperience and the speed of the car. My heart is deeply sadden, and my prayers goes out to their families.

Message to parents: Please don't let you children have the keys until they prove to you they can handle the road and driving in all situations.

Message to teens: If possible, try not to drive fast in the dark. If you have to, turn down your radio, and keep communication down to a minimum. Be careful. Drive safe.

Satellite TV

I just got satellite television today, and I like it so far. The technician came over, and I gave him a tour of the house. He went outside and installed the dish, and he went in my basement and ran cables up to my rooms that have televisions in them. He hooked up the receivers to my televisions, and he checked to make sure everything was working correctly before he left. Now I'm enjoying high quality television.

Cold

The North decided to send some cold weather down South. It was so cold that I had to bring my very hairy dog into the house. He and I had a good bonding time together last night. I let him slept in the basement, but I stayed down there with him most of the time. I gave him a bucket full of water and a bowl of doggy chow. Things went well. Today it warmed up, so I took him back outside. If the weather turns bad again, I'll be ready to bring him in again.

The Clinic

The clinic is the place to go if you don't have an medical emergency. My local clinic is properly staffed, and the people there are highly trained professionals. I saw a patient who came for a check-up. She could hardly walk. She was only able to take two steps a minuet before stopping, but the staff were there for her. They brought out a wheelchair for her and helped her in it.

Don't be scared to go to the clinic. The staff are there for you.

Old But Still Great

I went by a restaurant that has been in business for many years. It may be old but the food is still great there. It has a stained wood interior. The seats are comfortable, but the lighting is a little dim. I ordered some fish, mashed potatoes, and green tomatoes. And last, for dessert I had a cheesecake. The prices were in the medium range, but I got my monies worth.

I have always heard, "Don't judge a book by its cover".

Wally World

Today I went to a Wal-Mart A.K.A. Wally World. Yes, you can say they have everything from a to z. I found a few bargains and bought a few things, and I left out of that store with a little less money in my pockets. But here is the kicker. Wal-Mart's parking lot is terrible. You have people who have parking lot rage, people who cannot remember where they parked, clueless people, and shopping cart employees who don't care. Wal~Mart. Ha ha.

Ringing In The Year

Yes. I sure did ring in 2009. I singed. I danced. I got happy, all until my neighbors started shooting. From big guns to little guns, people were banging them. I chose not to shoot mine. I did not want to get in the cross-fire.

But anyway... Happy 2009.
