I first became interested in music as a little. My family would play records and listen to the radio when we not watching television. I was exposed to music in every kind of ways. Artists I can name off the top of my head that I was exposed to as a chilld include: The Temptations, Paula Abdul, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rodgers, Aerosmith, New Edition, and MC Hammer.
In school I joined the marching band, and I was exposed to even more music. Also I had the Disney Television Channel. On Disney there were two musical shows, Kids Incorporated and The Mickey Mouse Club. I wanted to be a part of those shows so bad. I got a chance to be on the Mouse Club, but I was only a audience member.
Now I call myself a Disc Jockey. I may not be a hired DJ, but I'm still one. I own lots of music, and I'm self-studying on how to beat match. My goal is to get into the entertainment business, and I'm not giving up that goal, no matter what people say.
That's my music background. I also sing and dance.
